To become a Certified Drought Tolerant Landscape, the participant’s front yard landscape must meet the following requirements:

  1. Front yard with drought-tolerant landscaping
  2. Well-maintained landscaping (i.e. no weeds)
  3. Meet irrigation standards set by Ordinance 389
  4. Comprised of less than 25% turf
