Anthony Herda moved to Eastvale in 2017, bringing with him a wealth of professional experience. Director Herda has served as a water resources engineer in the western United States for over fifteen years, with licenses in California and Hawaii. He is currently an Associate Vice President at Carollo Engineers.
Director Herda is an active member of the American Water Works Association, where he published and presented a white paper on steel water tank design to resist earthquakes. Additionally, Director Herda is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, where he published and presented a white paper on the normalization of water demand as a method to monitor the efficacy of water conservation programs.
In addition to his professional experience, Director Herda provides leadership and mentorship as an advisor at the UC Riverside Extension for professional studies in business. He trains junior engineers and technicians in hydraulic computer modeling, infrastructure master planning, and strategic planning.
Educationally, Director Herda holds a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Strategic Analysis, from Azusa Pacific University. Director Herda completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Sacramento State University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Composition from the University of Southern California.
Mr. Herda was first elected in 2022; his current term will end in 2026.
