Lupe Nava moved to Jurupa Valley in 2019 and was a resident of Eastvale for 16 years prior. She is a Safety and Regulatory Training Administrator at Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, where she has been employed for 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration and completed the Level 2 Water Treatment Certification course.
Mrs. Nava has been involved in the community including coaching youth soccer and as an editor/writer for the Eastvale Edition which evolved into the JCSD Parks and Recreation publication. As one of the leads for the Eastvale Events Committee, she helped establish annual events such as the Fall Festival and Picnic in the Park. Now in Jurupa Valley, she is a member of the Jurupa Valley Citizens Patrol.
Mrs. Nava joined the Board to use her education, experience, and history of community service to serve as a voice for both the Eastvale and Jurupa Valley communities as well as the entire JCSD service area.
Ms. Nava was first appointed in 2020; her current term will end in 2024.
