Arman Tarzi is the Manager of Government & Public Affairs for the Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD). Mr. Tarzi leads the Department of Public Affairs, overseeing the Conservation, Public Outreach, and Government Affairs Divisions. With a robust public service and policy background spanning over eighteen years, he brings a wealth of experience to JCSD. Previously, Mr. Tarzi was an Administrative Analyst for Public Affairs at Olivenhain Municipal Water District and held prominent roles such as Director of Policy (Ethics) for the City of Los Angeles and as an official with the U.S. Federal Election Commission in Washington, D.C. Mr. Tarzi’s early career includes service for two cities in Orange County and an apprenticeship for a senior member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
Academically, Mr. Tarzi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the George Washington University, a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Public Policy from Norwich University, and a Public Leadership Credential from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. His educational background and extensive professional experience help him direct agency communications, strategic advocacy, government relations, and water conservation efforts.
